The South Central Railway ( SCR) has entered an anonymous letter hanging Odisha- suchlike train tragedy on Hyderabad- Delhi route.
The letter entered last week by the SCR Divisional Manager hovered that an Odisha- suchlike rail accident will take place on Hyderabad- Delhi route. The road officers have informed Hyderabad police about the damage of the letter.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Chandana Deepti said on Monday that they entered the information three days agone and the police are probing to trace the person who transferred the letter.
Over 290 people were killed in the triadic train accident in Odisha’s Balasore on June 2.
According to the findings of a high- position inquiry, wrong signaling was the main reason behind the accident. The Commissioner of Railway Safety ruled out any liability of sabotage or conspiracy behind the accident, though the Central Bureau of Investigation( CBI) is probing the accident from a possible felonious angle.
Meanwhile, SCR General Manager( GM) Arun Kumar Jain on Monday conducted a safety review meeting with all the star Heads of Departments.
Divisional Railway Manager’s( DRMs) of all six Divisions( Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded) joined the review meeting through videotape conference.
Jain conducted a detailed review on the operation of the pool to insure the safety of train operations and hassle-free movement of the trains over the zone.
He instructed officers to follow the established safety morals and to come up with new ideas for stylish utilisation of staff. He also asked officers to continue the safety drives over the zone and consolidate the examinations to insure the safety of the train operations.
The SCR GM directed Divisional officers and staff to follow the safety procedures rigorously as per the Railway Board guidelines issued from time to time.
latterly, he also held a detailed review on vacuity of fire discovery outfit and fire extinguishers on trains at both AC and Non-AC trainers.
He instructed DRMs to conduct regular examinations to insure proper conservation of means to insure safety and ameliorate promptitude.
