Arvind Kejriwal says seek help of Army/ NDRF on Busiest Road Is swamped

Delhi’s ITO crossing area, the busiest business crossroad in the public capital, has been swamped after a drain controller broke down amid rising water situations in the Yamuna swash. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a tweet before moment verified that the breach is the cause of the flooding in the area, and that he has directed officers to take the help of the Army and disaster relief force.

” This breach is causing flooding of ITO and surroundings. masterminds have been working whole nite( sic). I’ve directed the Chief Secretary to seek help of Army/ NDRF but this shud be fixed urgently,” he twittered, quoting his press coworker Saurabh Bharadwaj’s before tweet informing that water from the Yamuna was entering the megacity through the breach despite brigades working each- night to fix the damage.

The controller of drain number 12 between the Indraprastha machine depot and the WHO structure on Delhi’s Ring Road broke down around 7 pm history. This redounded in back- flow in the drain that carried water from central Delhi to Yamuna. Mr Kejriwal has said this is the reason ITO and girding areas are swamped.

Delhi Health Minister and Delhi Jal Board Chairman Saurabh Bharadwaj reportedly tried to get it fixed all night without success.
