The Delhi Traffic Police Monday morning issued an advisory reopening several roads for vehicular movement following restrictions due to the water level of the Yamuna breaching ‘danger’ mark.
The water level of the Yamuna in Delhi continues to remain above the ‘danger’ mark, with the Central Water Commission (CWC) forecast indicating that the level may fall below the danger level by by Monday evening.Here are the routes which are opened as per the police advisory:
Traffic Advisory Traffic movement which was closed due to flood has been opened on the following roads- 1. Boulevard Road to slip road,below Yudhisthir setu turn left to MGM to wazirabad flyover and further. 2.Gandhi marg both carriageways from Chandgiram Akhara to IP college.

– Bhairon Marg and Rajghat area are clear for traffic.
– Ring Road from Sarai Kale Khan to IP Flyover and Rajghat for light vehicles.
– Ring Road from ISBT Kashmere Gate to Timarpur and Civil Lines area.
– Carriageway from Hanuman Setu to Salim Garh Bypass
– Both carriageways on Outer Ring Road
Roads which remain closed due to waterlogging:
– ISBT Kashmere Gate
– Shanti Van- Monkey Bridge – Yamuna Bazar-ISBT
– Carriageway from IP College to Chandgi Ram Akhara
– Road near Majnu Ka Tila and Hanuman Setu
– Carriageway from Chandgi Ram Akhara to Shanti Van (due to mud and dust)
“Commuters going to Nizamuddin may take left turn from IP Flyover to Vikas Marg – Loop on Laxmi Nagar – Akshardham-NH 24,” the traffic police advisory read.
The Delhi Traffic police had earlier banned the entry of heavy goods vehicles from Singhu Border, Tikri Border, Rajokari Border, Badarpur Border, Chilla Border, Gazipur Border, Loni Border, Apsara Border and Bhopura Border. The ban has still not been lifted due to water logging.
There are no restrictions on vehicles carrying essential commodities/services and relief materials.
