Heavy rain in several corridor of the public capital for the alternate day on Sunday created mayhem in domestic and marketable areas of Delhi, with submersed roads and overflowing rainspouts leading to massive waterlogging and paralysed business for hours.
The India Meteorological Department ( IMD) has prognosticated further showers for Delhi moment. “ Rainstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would do over and touching areas of isolated places of Delhi including Kashmiri Gate, Rajauri Garden, Red stronghold, Rajeev chauk, ITO, Dwarka, India Gate, Akshardham, Palam, IGI Airport, and NCR during coming 2 hours, ” IMD twittered.

The heavy rain submersed low- lying areas and threw business out of gear. filmland and vids of commuters wading through knee-deep water swamped social media, egging questions on the effectiveness of the drainage system in the megacity.
Gurugram also faced waterlogging and business logjams in several areas. The rainfall department had formerly issued a unheroic alert for the megacity, warning of moderate to heavy downfall.
The first spell of heavy thunderstorm rain on Saturday continued for several hours leading to water gushing into the lockers of the megacity’s most popular shopping destination, Connaught Place, and led to a check of the Minto Bridge rotary for business due to waterlogging.
