India’s third charge to the moon is set to take off hereafter( Friday) at2.35 pm from Sriharikota. The charge aims to land on the lunar face, making India the fourth country after the United States, Russia and China to do so. Ahead of the launch, ISRO Chairman S Somanath along with a platoon of scientists on Thursday offered prayers at Sri Chengalamma Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh with a atomic model of the rocket. “ Chandrayaan- 3 will start its trip hereafter. We’re hoping that everything goes right and it lands on the moon on August 23, ” Somanath told journalists.
Chandrayaan- 3 charge consists of an indigenous propulsion module, a lander module, and a rover with the ideal of developing and demonstrating new technologies needed forinter-planetary operations.

The ISRO has formerly accepted a 24- hour ‘ launch trial ’ bluffing the entire launch medication and process for the charge. The soft wharf on moon’s face is planned for late August. The third charge follows the failure of the alternate charge to achieve the wanted soft wharf on the moon face in 2019.
