New Delhi : Through an RTI, Advocate Anand Mishra, National Vice Chairman of the RTI Department formed under the leadership of Indian Youth Congress President Shri Srinivas BV ji, has informed that in the last 9 years, Modi government of the Centre, has spent a lot of money on electronic and print media, Mishra said that if we talk about the last one financial year 2022-23, then more than Rs 103 crore has been spent in print media and if 9 years If the expenditure of 1000 crores is added, then this figure reaches more than 1000 crore rupees, while if we talk about electronic media, then in the last financial year more than 48 crore rupees have been spent only for TV advertisements, and this If the expenditure is added for 9 years, then this figure becomes Rs 1330 crore. Apart from this, more than 200 crore rupees have been spent by the Modi government in the name of internet advertisements, SMS, DCAT, DED and miscellaneous expenditure.
National President of Indian Youth Congress Shri Srinivas BV ji said that while on one hand the Modi government at the centre is bent on looting the government exchequer on advertisements, on the other hand, the general public of the country is suffering from growing inflation, every single thing of need has gone out of the reach of the common man today. Yes, the prices of everything are touching the sky today, even if it is about tomatoes, today the prices of tomatoes have gone up to Rs. 250, only the media houses are developing and the general public of the country is suffering, if this money was properly utilized by the Modi government at the centre, then perhaps inflation could have been controlled.
National President of Indian Youth Congress Shri Srinivas BV ji also said that today skyrocketing prices of petrol and diesel could have been reduced, good hospitals could have been built, good schools could have been opened, employment resources could have been made available, but instead of working on all these works, the Modi government at the centre has done the work of taking the government treasury to its favorite media house for false publicity.
