The Noida- Greater Noida Expressway endured surprisingly high volume of business on Wednesday morning, incommoding commuters during the rush hour.
Commuters on their way to Greater Noida from Noida were a harried lot due to the business traffic at multiple points on the thruway.
The first tailback was created when a truck broke down and capsized near Sector 105 around 9 am on the main expressway. It halted business during the peak hours of the morning, leading to a long line of staying vehicles. According to business officers, the Noida to Greater Noida route is generally free during the morning hours, while there’s advanced business from Noida towards Delhi, but the trend was reversed on Wednesday morning.
“ There was an over two kilometre-long line of business after a truck broke down on the main expressway. utmost of us are surely not used to having business on this side of the road.
