Delhi Metro operations on the Blue Line will be regulated on July 23, 2023, due to planned maintenance work between Rajiv Chowk and Mandi House metro stations. The decision, taken by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), aims to carry out scheduled maintenance work on the Blue Line (Line-3&4 i.e., Dwarka Sec-21 to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali). As a result, train services on this particular section will not be available till 6 AM from the start of revenue service.
The affected section, namely between Rajiv Chowk and Mandi House metro stations, will be closed during the initial few hours of July 23. Consequently, Barakhamba Road Metro station will remain closed until train services on this section resume at 6 AM.
During the maintenance period, the rest of the sections on the Blue Line, specifically from Dwarka Sec-21/Dwarka to Rajiv Chowk and Mandi House to Noida City Centre/Vaishali, will continue to operate as per the normal timetable, ensuring regular train services for commuters.
For passengers traveling beyond Rajiv Chowk or Mandi House stations during the regulated hours, they are advised to de-board at the respective stations and utilize the Yellow & Violet lines (vice versa) to reach their desired destinations. This arrangement will allow commuters to continue their journey on the Blue Line once regular services are restored.

To ensure a smooth travel experience and keep passengers informed, regular announcements will be made both at the stations and inside the trains. Additionally, the DMRC will deploy additional staff to facilitate commuters during this period.
The train services from Noida City Centre to Noida Electronic City section will commence at 8 AM, following the usual Sunday timetable.
This decision has been made in the interest of maintaining the infrastructure and ensuring the safety and efficiency of Delhi Metro’s Blue Line. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and utilize alternative routes during the regulated hours to minimize inconvenience.
