It wasn’t just any other day for the 30 scholars of Delhi University who boarded Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line on Friday, to reach North Campus. Well, how could it be, for theirco-passenger was none other than the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi! numerous of those who were aboard this train recall their experience with the PM and say they’re still on pall nine.

Boarding the train from Lok Kalyan Marg and getting off at Vishwavidyalaya to attend the ending form of DU’s centenary fests, the PM won numerous hearts on the go. Shalu Mishra, a alternate- time BCom pupil at Bharati College, says, “ Our PM is way too cool! He knows everything about what youths are over to these days. He knew the lingo and expressions we use — from K- Nags to ‘ Momos ki bhookh lagi hai ’ — spots we affect at Satya Niketan and where we hang out in Kamla Nagar. ” And Drishti Gautam, first- time BA( Prog) pupil at Maharaja Agrasen College, adds, “ He told us how council isn’t just about the degree. It’s about literacy chops and making recollections. ”


Also aboard this not- so-regular lift was Tanisha Bajaj, a alternate- time BCom( Hons) pupil at Dyal Singh College, who shares, “ Someone asked him for a selfie and he looked at me and said, ‘ Yeh social media ne bhi bigaad diya hai sabko ’, and laughed. I now have an inside joke with the PM! ”

At the varsity, the PM said during his speech “ Like scholars then, I travelled by the Metro moment. scholars have a lot to talk about. From wisdom motifs to new series on OTT, they do n’t leave any subjects. ”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 30 visited Delhi University to attend the centenary festivity. Upon his appearance at the university, the PM visited Delhi University’s exhibition and interacted with scholars. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also interacted with scholars. Delhi University is observing its centenary fests on June 30. before, PM Modi took the metro to Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station to attend the program.
